SaiFlow Platform Overview

SaiFlow is an Energy Runtime Security platform. It secures the distributed energy infrastructure that runs batteries, solar PV, turbines of all kinds, inverters, meters, and the sites that house them. It watches your operational network passively, learns what normal looks like for your energy assets, and surfaces the threats and anomalies that protocol-only tools miss.

This documentation explains what each part of the platform does, when to use it, and how to use it step by step.

What SaiFlow does​

The platform is built around four capabilities. Each one has its own section in these docs.

  • Asset visibility: Automated discovery and classification of the devices on your network, built from passive monitoring with no active scanning. See Assets.
  • Contextual runtime detection: Built-in detection of cyber threats and energy anomalies, with a no-code rule builder for custom rules. See Policies and Monitoring & Alerts.
  • AI-native investigation: Root-cause analysis that reasons over your security and energy data. See Investigation.
  • Compliance reporting: NERC CIP readiness scoring and audit-ready documentation. See Compliance.

Who this is for​

These docs are written for the people who operate and secure energy infrastructure. Security analysts, operations engineers, compliance teams, and site administrators all use SaiFlow. No prior knowledge of the platform is assumed.

How to use these docs​

Start with Getting Started. It explains Energy Runtime Security and the core concepts that the rest of the platform builds on.

After that, each section maps to an item in the left navigation of the app. Open the screen you want to learn about and read the matching section here. The Glossary defines every term used across the platform.
